Deputy Chad Oberlander was recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) and the California Office for his efforts in combating drunk drivers. He was honored along with law enforcement officers from throughout California. Deputy Oberlander made fifty-one DUI arrests last year while working the Midnight Shift in Cupertino.
